Criswell Davis, a renowned international speaker on the topic of sustainable American hardwoods, has been in the hardwood business for more than 25 years as a salesman and lecturer. The past 16 years have been spent working with a high-end sawmill and as a result he has a deep understanding of the entire process of producing kiln dried lumber for flooring, cabinetry, millwork and furniture.
Mr. Davis has served on the Board of Directors for the Wood Products Manufacturers Association, the Western Hardwood Association and the Hardwood Federation PAC in Washington D.C., and regularly makes presentations to distributors, architects, designers and students worldwide.
He is a devoted husband and father of two grown children. A dedicated distance runner, Criswell enjoys film, reading and his occasional role as a jazz percussionist.
